Many people have once been forced out of a job considering they’re too expensive to employ and slower than a machine. It’s happening now increasingly than overly but this isn’t a new phenomenon. Since the 70’s robots have been widespread, with the primeval known standardised industrial robot created in 1937. Nowadays robots are rhadamanthine household items, helping with everything from cleaning, lighting and heating to monitoring the garage door and making coffee. The changes are gradual and sometimes unnoticeable, but very real.  “The factory of the future will have only two employees, a man and a dog. The man will be there to feed the dog. Nowadays, walk into any major wall and you will find an variousness of machines to help you with you lodgements, withdrawals and unstipulated financial enquiries. You’ll soon realise the machine does the same job, faster and increasingly unceasingly - for a cheaper price.  I believe it will certainly pose challenges on a social level for many people - what will we do with all this uneaten time? Will we be worldly-wise to make income in new ways or will the social welfare system have to be totally restructured? Or will much increasingly of us simply be redeployed to the robotics industry the same way many people have moved to the IT industry?So what is the solution?Well, in my opinion, the only way to survive is to wilt indispensable as an employee. In other words, aim to do work that a machine could never do and that can’t be hands outsourced to cheaper country: creative work, human-dependent work, innovative idea generation, ramified problem solving in grey areas. We can’t focus on outworking the competition in countries with low value currencies, we need to uncover new ways to outthink them.Finally, it’s crucial now increasingly than overly to have a self directed learning habit.
